Our Commitment
At Windy Floofs, we are dedicated to providing exceptional dog grooming services with a focus on your pet's comfort and well-being. We strive for excellence in every groom, ensuring your furry friend leaves looking and feeling their best.
Because we work one on one we take time between every visit to thoroughly clean and sanitize, tools, equipment, and space using high quality veterinary disinfectants that are also pet safe like F10 for equipment, clipper blade sanitizer, and barbicide for tools.
Our Grooming Services
Windy Floofs offers a variety of grooming services. From a basic Bath and Brush to Full grooms. Flea and Tick treatments, and paw and nail care. From the muddiest hound to the curliest poodle, we got you.
In addition to Grooming, we offer microchip scanning for found 'lost' pets. We also are looking to collaborate with other vet volunteer programs to offer low cost and free microchipping. ( We order the microchips and pay for them and have a volunteer vet place them.) More information on that after we get going.

Dogs are required to be up to date on vaccines. Puppies at least two weeks after their third round of vaccines. Wash and Grooming stations, equipment and tools are sanitized between grooms to ensure the safety of your floofy friend.
Bath & Brush
Includes a gentle bath with premium shampoo, conditioner, thorough brushing, and nail trim.
Nails/Paws& Ears
Individual nail trimming and pawdicure services to keep your dog's paws healthy. Along with Gentle ear cleaning to remove wax and prevent infections.
About Windy Floofs
Windy Floofs' is a locally owned and operated dog grooming business within my home. With help from my family and husband we have dedicated an area in our basement with a wash area, grooming table, holding area, and a cute little lobby.
I have selected equipment that is high quality to ensure ease and comfort of grooming your pet pal. Though my main focus is on dogs, I will take cats on a case by case basis. I also do nails of a variety of small pets to farm animals like Guinea Pigs, Reptiles, Chickens, Cats, Dogs etc. ( not hooves).
Lobby
A comfortable place to fill out any paperwork needed. Here we can discuss the different trims and services I can offer your pup if you haven't yet decided. I have interactive charts and books showing you the variety of lengths my clippers will do and the texture your dogs fur will look when done.
The Table
I took a lot of time to research and select a grooming table that is both comfortable for myself and your pet. The electric lift, can be lowered to just a couple inches from the floor to make it easier for older and larger dogs to get on and off. Raising the lift is very quiet and smooth ensuring a calmer safer experience for your pup.
Here I will do prep work, pre-bath brushing, de-matting, ear cleansing and nails.
It will also be where trims and clips be performed post bath
Wash Tub
We are on well water with a newly placed whole home water filter and water softener. Which helps leave your dogs skin softer and smelling great.
I love this wash tub, here I can do full baths, and washes. The variety of sprayers both help in full body coverage as well as de-shedding. After the bath I towel dry and use a high velocity blow dryer to help in the de-shedding, fluffing and drying.

If the groom will take over 2.5 hours or multiple dogs I book both morning appointment times with start time between 9am-10am or a flexible Afternoon time.
The 30 Minutes in-between sessions I use to thoroughly clean and sanitize tools and equipment before the next client. Please be on time.
If booking Multiple Dogs: They will seen in rotation, and crated. I do have an option for smaller dogs/ puppies who do not crate well in a more open but gated area with puppy pads. If the groom is over 3 hours I do one potty break in an area outside that is not the same as my own dogs, to prevent spread of parasites.
Rotation isas follows: Nail Trim, Ear Cleanse, 15 minute brushout/ detangle ( unless doing a de-shed), Pre Clipping & paw pads, Bath, Towel & HV Blow Dry till mostly dry ( Crate and Switch Dogs) After All all have been Washed/ Dried: Fluff Dry, Cut, Trim, Finishing Spray.
